During my residency at Frans Masereel Centrum (now Masereel) in 2017 , I focused on bringing a physical, tactile dimension to the digital geometric patterns I developed during my Master’s studies.
Transitioning from screen to paper, I experimented primarily with analogue printmaking techniques, such as lithography, screen printing, stamps and eventually also with risography, both individually and in combination. I investigated how different printing methods can enhance, alter and elevate the tactile quality of digital design.
The prints that follow, are some of these experiments and they all unique copies (except from the riso prints).
